| 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  Great car stereo, By BAYAMON62 "BAYAMON62" (DECATUR , AL.) - See all my reviews This review is from: JVC KDA815 / KD-A815 / KD-A815 Dual USB/AUX/CD Receiver (Electronics) Great unit for the price , the sound quality is great, when using a Ipod it is Amazingly clear , i would never believe that my factory speakers would sound this good with just the power from this head unitBluetooth - works great also , ran the external mike from the radio thru the dash and up the driver side pilar , used the provided clip at head level , on my 1st call i had to inform i was on my radio, the person on the other end could not tell any difference from a regular call, that is a plus.Callers are clear thru the car speakers and i see on the display who is calling, also like the feature were i can just touch a button and the call comes thru my phone . Audio streaming- sounds better than i anticipated, not as good as when using the Ipod but better than FM radio, so that is a plus, considering now i can used Pandora to play what i want thru the radio. Aux- also lacks the detail of the Ipod music but better than FM, it allows me to used... I am very happy with my purchase of the JVC A815. I bought it for 169.00 and what a great value for his head unit. 30,000 colors means you can make it match your dash lights exact, or make it compliment them. It has 3 auxillary inputs, one pigtail in rear that I routed to my glovebox and attached a mini usb drive to it. Two front, one usb and one mini. The Usb hold the bluetooth module which is barely noticable and bluetooth funtions much better from this location, pop it out if you want to use an Ipod or Iphone. Everything works just how you would want it too. The controls are very intuitive. One caveat: I wish the eq was 5 or 7 channel instead of 3, but the sound quality is excellent, so this is a quible. Everything you will want, decent power and good build quality, I recommend this car stereo to anyone. |
