I looked at different options for my 2005 Dodge Ram, I wanted something with as little of a footprint as possible. This is the one!Took me about 45 minutes to install, the longest part was getting the activation done. Both the XM reciever and digital adapter went in easily behind the glove box. The cables are not very long, so you need a place to get them in close to the head unit. I didn't actually have to screw either one down behind the glove box as they fit pretty snug. The antenna has a long enough cable to place it just about anywhere on the roof. I placed mine just above the windsheild on the passenger side. No loss of signal yet...but I live in Kansas so there are not a lot of overhead obstructions! The factory head unit I have is the RAZ type with the Infinity speaker option. It has the button controls for the 6-disc changer option (which I do not have installed.) Everything works... At first they just sent me the interface. Had to email them, then they sent me the XM tuner and antenna.Pulled out the RB4 factory navigation radio out of my HEMI Ram and hooked everything up. Hit the mode button and the screen came up on XM channel and I heard the preview channel. The only problem was I couldn't change the channel. Something with the interface doesn't control all the functions. As a test I pulled the RB4 and installed an RAZ factory CD/Tape deck and it worked perfect. Oh well...If only it worked with the navigation. It is a very cool product.
